Californians for GE Free Agriculture Coalition
OAEC is a founding Steering Committee member of a statewide coalition
called Californians for GE-Free Agriculture. Cal GE-Free brings farmer
based organizations together with consumer and environmental groups to
halt the introduction into California of economically and ecologically
destructive genetically engineered (GE) crops. The Cal GE-Free
coalition has organized a broad statewide alliance
(www.gepolicyalliance.org), and has provided education on the GE issue
for dozens of California state legislators.
