Carol Nieukirk

Carol Nieukirk is a Sowing Circle Community member and manages OAEC’s organic orchards, chickens and goats. She also co-directs OAEC’s Wildlands Biodiversity Program, managing the Center's 70 acres of wildlands. A wildlife biologist who has international research experience with marine mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians, and land mammals, Carol is also field botanist, herbalist, cheese maker, fiber artist and horse woman and practices primitive skills.
