The Occidental Arts & Ecology Center presents Teresa Tudury and Friends as part of its Annual Chautauqua Series.  Poignant, funny, and lyrical, Teresa’s joy is rivaled only by her mastery of the song.  The concert is presented on the outdoor stage of OAEC’s North Garden Theater.  A space that feels like home, the Theater is a work of art that is as much a part of the show as any of the acts.

The public is invited to tour the Occidental Arts & Ecology Center on Sunday, August 16. This two- hour tour begins at 9:00 AM.  This site tour will focus on the Permaculture aspects of OAEC’s gardens, wildlands and structures. “Permaculture” is a philosophy of living based in sustainable land use concepts and practices. Participants will be introduced to OAEC’s organic and bio-intensive gardens and heirloom seedsaving program, our watershed and wildland restoration work, and “natural” building methods. The tour will be lead by Brock Dolman, the Director of the Permaculture Program at OAEC. Sturdy shoes, sunblock, and personal water bottles are recommended. The public is invited to tour the Occidental Arts & Ecology Center on Saturday, March 20. This tour begins at 1 PM and will run approximately 1.5 hrs in duration. Tour participants will be introduced to the Center and our organic gardens. Sturdy shoes, brimmed hat or warm layers (depending on weather), and personal water bottles are recommended. Please note that the terrain is very hilly and unpaved with dirt or gravel paths.  A suggested donation of $10 per person is requested.
