The public is invited to tour the Occidental Arts and Ecology Center on Sunday, August 22, during the Center's Fall Biodiversity Plant Sale. This will be the first, hour-long tour of the day, beginning at 11 AM. Tour participants will be introduced to the Center's organic gardens, which preserve thousands of varieties of rare and endangered food, medicinal, and ornamental plants. Sturdy shoes, sunblock or hat, and personal water bottles are recommended. Please note that the terrain is very hilly and unpaved with dirt or gravel paths.

The perennials offered will include perennial food crops, culinary and medicinal herbs, Andean crops and other plants of ethno-botanical interest and select ornamentals.
All are favorites which have been grown in and propagated from our 37 year-old Mother Gardens. All plants will be sold in gallon pots.
The sales will be held at our brand-new Greenhouses and Nursery.
