Jim Coleman

Jim Coleman directs OAEC’s Visual Documentation Program and is the Research Director for the WATER Institute. Over the past eight years, he has also worked with OAEC’s Wildlands Biodiversity Program and facilities maintenance. Jim has worked as an itinerant naturalist from the mountains of Vermont and North Carolina to the forests of Alaska and Costa Rica. He holds an MS in biology from Sonoma State University and is focused on the conservation and restoration of native ecosystems…but mostly he enjoys chasing his little daughter Lucy around.
