Doug Gosling describes his first trip to Africa as “an odyssey.” Both hair-raising and wonderful, it was a bumpy three-day ride from Senegal to Mali in a jeep crammed with people from all over the planet, bound for one of the world's most remote, and mind-blowing, music festivals.
