Chautauqua Series Offerings
- 07/31/2009 - 20:0007/31/2009 - 23:00
Friday, July 31st at 8pm

The Occidental Arts & Ecology Center presents The Mark Growden Band as part of its annual Chautauqua Series. Mark returns to the stage at OAEC after hitting it big there last year as part of the Chautauqua Revue. Mark has been described as, “Part singer-songwriter, part bluesman, part avant-gardist, he’s an avatar of bohemian weirdness on a par with Tom Waits or Joe Henry.” -Fort Worth Weekly
The concert is presented on the outdoor stage of OAEC’s North Garden Theater. A space that feels like home, the Theater is a work of art that is as much a part of the show as any of the acts. - 08/15/2009 - 20:0008/15/2009 - 23:00
Saturday, August 15th at 8pm
The Occidental Arts & Ecology Center presents Teresa Tudury and Friends as part of its Annual Chautauqua Series. Poignant, funny, and lyrical, Teresa’s joy is rivaled only by her mastery of the song. The concert is presented on the outdoor stage of OAEC’s North Garden Theater. A space that feels like home, the Theater is a work of art that is as much a part of the show as any of the acts.
