Ladies, are you ready to weild some power tools June 7-9?
"Woodshop for Women," an intensive 3-day residential course at OAEC, empowers women to conceptualize and carry out basic carpentry projects.
Topics include:
- essential tools and their proper use
- safe and effective use of power tools
- structural integrity
- basic techniques such as cutting, nailing, drilling, driving, and leveling

What's New at OAEC?
We've made a few changes this year, starting with our newly extended Plant Sales [3] (now 2 weekends each season):
Nursery Hours [4]
In addition to our three annual Plant Sales [3], our nursery will now be open every weekend between:
- May 25th - Jun. 30th
- Sept. 7th - Nov. 3rd
NEW Courses [5] and Trainings
- May 25 - 26: Community Resiliency Training [6]
- June 28 - 30: Tending the Wild [7]
- August 15 - 22: California Naturalist Certification [8]
