A Handful of Seeds

OAEC’s School Garden Program announces the release of “A Handful of Seeds” - a new publication, by Tina Poles, on seed saving and seed study for educators. CLICK HERE to download the illustrated guide.  Inside you will find lessons linked to California Educational Standards, practical information on seed saving in the school garden, and seed history and lore.

We are also inviting educators to participate in a forum- CLICK HERE so we can learn about what you are doing in your garden with seed saving and study.  We will share your insights and lessons with others through the forum, and possibly in a second edition of “A Handful of Seeds”.
